The AAAII congratulates Jayesh Kanuga, MD, FACAAI for being elected as an Officer of the Board of Regents of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology for a three year term. Dr. Kanuga continues his strong efforts to have joint activities in advancing the Allergy & Immunology Fellowship program in India and is being supported by the ACAAI leadership in this role.http://college.acaai.org/ |

The AAAII congratulates Mauli Desai, MD, FACAAI for being awarded and honored with the Young Faculty Support Award. Dr Desai was presented the award at the ACAAI annual scientific meeting in San Antonio November 2015 at the Special Awards Ceremony. Dr Desai has currently been appointed as Assistant Professor of Medicine, Clinical Immunology at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. |

The AAAII recently hosted a successful and well attended dinner symposium in Houston, TX. Dr. Chitra Dinakar spoke about yellow zone management in asthma and Dr. Mariana Castells spoke about drug hypersensitivity. |
